Ajman Secures a Resounding Victory Over Al Ain in the UAE Pro League

Ajman claimed a commanding 4-2 victory over visitors Al Ain on Wednesday evening in the 12th round of the ADNOC Pro League.

With this result, Al Ain continues its struggles, failing to win for the fourth consecutive match (three losses and one draw).

Milos Kosanovic put the hosts ahead in the eighth minute from the penalty spot, but Kodjo Laba quickly equalized for Al Ain just four minutes later.

In the 37th minute, Al Ain goalkeeper Khalid Eisa mistakenly sent the ball into his own net while attempting to clear a cross from Ismail Moamen, giving Ajman the lead again.

Al Ain suffered another setback when Matías Palacios was sent off in the 51st minute after a VAR review.

Despite being a man down, Al Ain managed to equalize when Kosanovic accidentally scored an own goal ten minutes before full time. However, substitute Anas Mitash restored Ajman’s lead with a stunning strike in the 82nd minute.

Junior Flemmings sealed Ajman’s victory with a goal in the final minute, securing the team’s second win in three league matches.

With this win, Ajman moved up to 13 points, placing tenth in the standings, while the reigning AFC Champions League winners remained in sixth place with 19 points.
