Goran and Bilal Yousuf Target Three Points Against Sharjah

Ajman head coach Goran and team player Bilal Yousuf have stressed the importance of the upcoming clash against Sharjah, scheduled for Sunday as part of Matchweek 6 of the ADNOC Pro League. Speaking at the pre-match press conference, both expressed their determination to maintain the team’s positive results and secure a victory in front of the Orange faithful.

Goran highlighted the challenges posed by the fixture schedule, given the short turnaround between the match against Erbil and the upcoming league encounter.

“We have only four days to prepare for the Sharjah match following the game against Erbil. It is a somewhat difficult schedule, but we have to adapt to the demands of a congested fixture list. Our focus at the moment is on helping the players recover and preparing the team in the best possible way,” he said.

He added: “The atmosphere within the team is very positive, especially as we have remained unbeaten in our last four matches. We know that Sharjah are a strong team with several quality players, so we must respect our opponents and prepare as well as possible. It will be a difficult match, but I trust my team’s ability to achieve a positive result if we maintain the fighting spirit and high tempo we have demonstrated in recent games.”

For his part, Bilal Yousuf emphasised that the team’s positive momentum provides an important boost ahead of the Sharjah encounter.

“The match will be difficult, but the team is in a positive state of mind. The results we have achieved in our recent matches give us great motivation to keep working hard and deliver even better performances,” he said.

The Ajman player concluded: “We are playing at home in front of our fans, and we are looking forward to making the most of that advantage to achieve the result we are aiming for. God willing, we will secure all three points and make the Orange faithful happy.”
