Ajman Club Board of Directors Convenes Its First Meeting
Board Extends Gratitude to Ajman Ruler and Crown Prince for Their Continued Trust and Support
The Board of Directors of Ajman Sports Club held its first meeting following its recent restructuring, chaired by H.E. Khalifa Al Jarman and attended by the new board members. The meeting addressed several key files related to the upcoming phase and laid down the executive frameworks for a comprehensive work plan.
The meeting commenced with the Board extending its deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and to His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, for their esteemed trust and ongoing support to the club—both morally and financially—which has greatly contributed to the stability of the sports institution.
The meeting included the participation of: Ahmed Al Foorah as Vice President, Majid Al Mazrouei as Supervisor of the First Football Team, Ahmed Al Matroushi as General Secretary, Nasser Al Dhafri as Executive Director, Mohammed Khalaf Al Shamsi as Supervisor of the Youth Sector and Football Academy, Ahmed Al Shamsi as Supervisor of Individual Sports, Issa Al Shamsi as General Supervisor of Volleyball, Hamdan Al Ali as Financial Director, and Mohammed Al Shamsi as a Board Member.
H.E. Khalifa Al Jarman, Chairman of the Board, affirmed that the meeting marks a genuine start to joint work in the board’s new term, emphasizing the importance of leveraging the club’s current state of stability and support. He stated, “We are fully aware of the responsibility placed upon us, and we will work with full dedication to achieve positive and sustainable results that meet the leadership’s aspirations and the expectations of the club’s fans.”
Al Jarman added that the meeting covered several key topics, most notably the preparation plan for the first team, details of the overseas training camp, and the timeline of friendly matches. It also addressed infrastructure matters and the technical support needed for the club’s various teams, with a strong focus on developing the youth sector as a foundational pillar for the future.
For his part, H.E. Ahmed Al Foorah, Vice President of the Board, highlighted the significance of the meeting as a first step in activating the club’s development plans. He emphasized the board’s team spirit and its keen interest in nurturing national talents and expanding participation in both individual and team sports.
H.E. Nasser Al Dhafri, Executive Director, stressed the importance of coordination among the club’s different departments. He explained that an executive mechanism was agreed upon to monitor the implementation of plans and programs, and to ensure the availability of administrative and logistical requirements for a strong start to the new season.
The meeting also reviewed financial and administrative reports, established mechanisms for periodic performance evaluation, and discussed investment priorities and the expansion of community partnerships in line with the club’s strategic vision
